Electrochemical Determination of Amitriptyline using a Nanocomposite Carbon Paste Electrode in Human Body Fluids
Authors
Abstract:
A carbon nanocomposite electrode has been designed by incorporation of montmorillonite nanoclayinto the carbon ionic liquid electrode for the electrochemical determination of amitriptiline . The surface ofthe proposed electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The presence of ionic liquid asa binder is believed to be responsible for the electrocatalytic activity of the proposed electrode for oxidationof amitriptyline. Low detection limit of 24 nM for amitriptyline was achieved. High stability and reproducibilityas well as the ease of preparation, low cost and surface renewal made this electrode ideal for thedetermination of amitriptyline in human body fluids.

full textA sensitive method for electrochemical determination of molybdenum (VI) in plant foodstuff samples using Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanocomposite modified carbon paste electrode
In the present study, a new chemically modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) is constructed for rapid, accurate, simple, highly sensitive, and selective determination of Mo (VI) using differential pulse voltammetry. The electrode was prepared using magnetic nickel zinc ferrite nanocomposite (Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4), as the modifier in CPE (Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/CPE). Mo (VI) was determined after preconcentr...
full textDetermination of Riboflavin by Nanocomposite Modified Carbon Paste Electrode in Biological Fluids Using Fast Fourier Transform Square Wave Voltammetry
Herein, fast Fourier transformation square-wave voltammetry (FFT-SWV) as a novel electrochemical determination technique was used to investigate the electrochemical behavior and determination of Riboflavin at the surface of a nanocomposite modified carbon paste electrode. The carbon paste electrode was modified by nanocomposite containing Samarium oxide (Sm2O3)/reduced gra...
